X=40°+70° = 110°  ∠ext=∠(int. opp)_1 +∠(int. opp)_2     X=(1/2)(140°+80°)=110°

$${X}=\mathrm{40}°+\mathrm{70}°\:=\:\mathrm{110}° \\ $$$$\angle{ext}=\angle\left({int}.\:{opp}\right)_{\mathrm{1}} +\angle\left({int}.\:{opp}\right)_{\mathrm{2}} \\ $$$$\:\:{X}=\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{2}}\left(\mathrm{140}°+\mathrm{80}°\right)=\mathrm{110}° \\ $$
