((2x)/3)+((5y)/3)=31  2x+5y=93   ...(i)  y+((5x)/3)=30  5x+3y=90   ...(ii)  from (i), (ii):  x=9  y=15  (3a)^2 =x^2 +y^2   ⇒a^2 =((9^2 +15^2 )/3^2 )=34=area of small square
