I get −ve answer set A=student in I park set B=student in II park set C=student in III park Total student x=n(A∪B∪C) n(A∪B∪C)=n(A)+n(B)+n(C) −n(A∪B)−n(A∪C)−n(B∪C) +n(A∪B∪C) x−160=student in 2 parks =n(A∪B)+n(A∪C)+n(B∪C) x=.5x+.8x+.9x−(x−160)+160 x=2.2x−x+320 −.2x=320 x=−1600

sorry mistake. number of students x−160 is number of student who attended exactly 2 parks x−160=n(A∪B)−n(A∩B∩C) +n(B∪C)−n(A∩B∩C) +n(C∪A)−n(A∩B∩C) n(A∪B)+n(A∪C)+n(B∪C) = x−160+3×160 =x+320 −−−−−−−−−−−−− substituting x=2.2x−(x+320)+160 160=.2x⇒x=800
