  the value of θ,in the range 0° ≤ θ≤90° for which sinθ = cos θ is...?

$$ \\ $$$${the}\:{value}\:{of}\:\theta,{in}\:{the}\:{range}\:\mathrm{0}°\:\leqslant\:\:\theta\leqslant\mathrm{90}° \\ $$$${for}\:{which}\:{sin}\theta\:=\:{cos}\:\theta\:{is}...? \\ $$

sinθ=cos(90−θ)     θ=90−θ     2θ=90      θ=45  sin45=cos45

$$\mathrm{sin}\theta=\mathrm{cos}\left(\mathrm{90}−\theta\right) \\ $$$$\:\:\:\theta=\mathrm{90}−\theta \\ $$$$\:\:\:\mathrm{2}\theta=\mathrm{90} \\ $$$$\:\:\:\:\theta=\mathrm{45} \\ $$$$\mathrm{sin45}=\mathrm{cos45} \\ $$$$ \\ $$

sinθ =cosθ ⇔ sinθ =sin((π/2)−θ) ⇔ θ =(π/2) −θ +2kπ or  θ =π −((π/2)−θ) +2kπ (k∈Z) ⇔ 2θ  = (π/2) +2kπ or θ=(π/2) +θ +2kπ  ⇔ θ =(π/4) +kπ  but we have 0≤θ≤(π/2) ⇒ 0≤(π/4) +kπ≤(π/2)  ⇒0 ≤(1/4) +k ≤(1/2) ⇒−(1/4) ≤k ≤ (1/4) ⇒k=0 ⇒θ =(π/4) .
